Are you bored of watching the same animations over and over again because you can't find good family movies both for your taste and also appropriate for children? Then, you have come to the right place. These are all family-friendly movies that will make you laugh, both the parents and the children. Nowadays it is hard to find good movies that any age group can enjoy and this list have come to your rescue. But I should warn you, some of them are PG 13 movies so I don't recommend you to watch them with little kids. Let's grab a bowl of popcorn, dim the lights and move on to the list that is full of funny movies to watch with your family.
1- The Tooth Fairy (2010)
Have you ever watched one of Dwayne Johnson's family movies? If you haven't yet, I think you should start with watching The Tooth Fairy. In the movie, Dwayne Johnson plays a famous hockey player named Derek Thompson who is a little snobbish and a realist who doesn't believe in dreams at first. But you should see him after he turns into a tooth fairy. I watched this family movie with my brother for 5 times and we bursted into laughter every time. Especially there is one scene that you shouldn't miss. I'm sure you are going to have fun as the parents too, as I know my father laughed a lot too.
2- Imagine That (2009)
This time it's an Eddie Murphy family movie. I'm sure you know how hilarious he is. Some movies that I recommend on this list have a similar theme which is about a workaholic parent and their neglected child, this movie has that theme. Evan Danielson (Eddie Murphy) works at an investment company and he is about to go on top of the company but that week his ex-wife brings his daughter to stay with him for a week. The movie is both emotional when watching a father-daughter bonding but it is also incredibly hilarious.
3- The Game Plan (2007)
This another Dwayne Johnson movie is really nice and it will warm your heart. This time Dwayne Johnson plays a famous American football player and the team captain named Joe Kingman. Although his rich bachelor life seems glamorous at first, later you can observe that he feels lonely. But something unexpected happens: his daughter whom he didn't know she exist comes up to his door and says she is going to stay with him for a while. He doesn't want this fact to slow down his career and he doesn't like to share his home, life with someone at first. But slowly she turns into his number one priority.
4- A Thousand Words (2012)
Another awesome Eddie Murphy movie... Jack McCall is a literary agent that works at a publishing company and he has to talk but especially lie about the books to their writers to get them to work with him. This is always how he makes the deal, until he meets a new-guru named Dr. Sinja. Although this one can be counted as a family appropriate movie, there are some short scenes that you would like to skip, so I suggest keep the remote close to you while watching it. But still the movie is full of good messages that you shouldn't miss and it is also really funny.

5- The Pacifier (2005)
This is one of the older movies to watch with family in this list and it is the movie that I watched the most when I was a little kid. Shane Wolfe (Vin Diesel) is a U.S Navy SEAL lieutenant and had a mission to save a scientist named Howard Plummer whom working at a secret project from Serbian rebels that kidnapped him. Shane, who had never lost someone on his charge before, unfortunately lost Howard and he himself got severely injured. After he recovered, he had another mission but this time it was baby-sitting. Since Plummer died, his wife had to go to Zurich to get the necessities from Howard's deposit box and meanwhile Shane had to protect Plummer's children and find a secred project named GHOST. We will see how Shane deals with this baby-sitting mission with 5 different kids. This one is a beautiful, emotional and funny movie in which there is no inappropriate scenes for children.
6- Are We Done Yet? (2007)
This is one of the most hilarious family movies that I have ever watched. After Nick (Ice Cube) and his girlfriend Suzanne got married, they moved into Nick's bachelor home with Suzanne's two kids. It was already too crowded at his house but they also found out that Suzanne was pregnant so they hade to move out to a bigger house. After they have found the perfect home with a big yard and bought it, they realized that there was a big problem; every part of the house was broken and had to be fixed. This fixer-upper was irritating for them but hilarious for us.
7- The Intern (2015)
This is not only one of the best movies to watch with family but it is also one of my fav movies of all time. I'm sure you will get rid of your boredom immediately after seeing cute but charismatic Robert De Niro on the screen. Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) is a retired man who has still a lot of energy that makes him want to learn and do more. After seeing the brochure for senior intern recruitment in an online fashion shop named All About the Fit, his search is over. Julie Ostin (Anne Hathaway) is the founder and the manager of the shop who has to work all day and every day but actually Ben has all the answers for her problems and she realizes that slowly. But be aware, there some short scenes that aren't appropriate for kids so you should skip them.
8- Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011)
This movie is awesome for a family movie night since it is great for both parents and children. In Mr. Popper's Penguins, Tom Popper (Jim Carrey) is a newly-divorced bussines man. He learns that his father died and he inherited something really unexpectable, 6 cute penguins. At first, Tom decides to left them at a zoo but his children loves the penguins so instead of leaving them, Tom turns his house into a place that penguins can live happily while bonding with his kids.
9- Real Steel (2011)
I have no idea why no one talks about this awesome family movie. It has the best plot for a family movie and it is also a science fiction so it's a win-win. The main character is played by one and only Hugh Jackman, Wolverine from X-Men movies. He is definetely a versatile actor and this movie shows it. The movie is set in the near future when there are robots everywhere. Robot boxing has taken the place of real boxing apparently and Charlie (Hugh Jackman) and his son Max plans to win the championship of Robot Fights with a very old robot that they have found. Watching their trainings, the fights, the hard-work is extremely motivating.
10- Liar Liar (1997)
This is one of the older movies to watch with family as well. Jim Carrey plays the main character who is a lawyer that has to lie all the time and also a workaholic that neglects his little son, similar to the other movies on the list. Fletcher Reed bails again his son's birthday although he said he would come, so his son makes a wish that his father can't lie ever again. The interesting part is his wish comes true. It becomes so funny since the one who has to lie all the time starts to tell only the truth.
